Dresser Makeover with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint

I scored 2 identical dressers on Craigslist for $25 each!  I had to glue a couple of the drawer fronts, but otherwise they were in really good condition. I painted them with Annie Sloan's Chateau Grey, but as you can see, the color is more of a sage green. (I wish she would name her colors appropriately!). I then distressed them with my sander and glazed them with a walnut colored Minwax stain. I also spray painted the hardware with Rustoleum's Oil Rubbed Bronze. I am thrilled with the results!!

  2. I just did a redo in ASCP too. I used the color graphite on a very beat up chest. I am redoing my son's room. Can you believe how much work it is to redo one little room? Good luck with yours.

  3. I think they turned out great! I agree with the paint names not matching the actual color! I just painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint for the first time last week. Come check it out! I am new to the blog world...

  4. I have an antique oak dresser that I have tucked away in the basement. Maybe I should make it my first chalk paint project. I certainly love the way yours turned out!
