Easy-Peasey Chair Make-over!

A good friend of mine GAVE me these chairs. They are feather/down filled, in excellent condition and so comfy! However, they are very 1970's Palm Beach in decor. One day I will probably fork out the cashola to have them reupholstered, but for now, I need something quick and cheap. I found these really cute slipcovers at a CSN store for about $35 each, and ta-da! New chairs. Even though they're in the man cave (sports, tv, media, dude) room, I think they are really cute! lol.

Before!
NOT MY TASTE, but they were free-ninety-free!

Miss Ivy wanted to show you just how comfy they are!

TA-DA!
The after shot! I LOVE THEM!

Miss Ivy is not allowed on the new slipcovers, so she decided to chew her bone instead.

The bows add a touch of girly to the testosterone zone. :)

  18. First of all I would like to say terrific blog! I had a quick
question that I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I have had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Thank you!

  20. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.
I've been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
